I say a resounding yes His work under pressure and his ability to work himself free is awesome. Let's talk about his in and under, his delivery ..or is that a foregone conclusion..but i digress..K.Jack's attitude is an example to lead without leading... "Follow me, as I dive head long into battle, and do as I do, as Kirky did, We will carry the torch..proudly".:thumbsu:

Now if I was in a trench and field Marshall Haige ordered me to jump over the top I imagine id turn around and walk home.

If Kieran Jack were beside me id be first one over.

many wimps in real life turn out to be brave in battle, that said no one in their right mind would have jumped from the trench for haig, thank hell monash came along, otherwise ww1 might still be going on :thumbsu:

Kieran Jack is our future captain FOR SURE. FAR ahead of Hanners at this stage, IMO.

Will be one of the swans all time greats. Mark my words. He has the stuff legends are made.

He could very well be the best NSW produced player of all time. **** Wayne Carey.

Good god I'm excited about our team in the near future. Jetta, Hanneberry, Jack. What's not to like?

He SHOULD be the face of Australian football in NSW and the Sydney Swans already.

He has been my favourite player this year.

and Jesse, should he learn to mark in front of his eyes....seriously Jesse, lose the chest mark. How about Rohan, Dennis(Great-Goal)-Lane, Mumford, McGlynn,..I could go on..our future is so bright, I gotta wear shades...especially this morning.. -oo-

I think he captained the Under18's in the National Championships. He looks to have all the qualities. Has really broken through this season. His last quarter was awe-inspiring.

For how much longer will Longmire use the co-captaincy system for though?

You'd have to think he would use it next year with Goodesy and Craig rather than have to demote one to vice captain...but when they're gone i do hope we revert to a one captain system, with Kieren taking over.

I don't say this lightly, I really don't, but more and more I feel inclined to mention the name Kieren Jack in the same breath as Paul Kelly. And neither Brett Kirk nor Jude Bolton have reached that pedestal for mine, and that is no disrespect to those two legends.

Kieran Jack Captain. Hanneberry vice-captain. That's my take on it.

I like how Kieran has a name beginning with 'K' so it rolls easier off the tongue easier when combined with 'captain.'

First there was captain Kirk, now there will be captain Kieran.

I love what a clever little sh1t he is in packs. I loved this one pick-up he did in yesterdays game that I thought was the play of the year. In fact, I think I'll youtube it.

Not that I expect anyone to remember my posts in general but almost every game I make a comment something along the lines of:

"Jeez Jack was great today. He's easily in my top 3 favourite (currently playing) players now. He's shown everything I respect players for... Commitment, dedication, courage, durability... Just so very happy with our younger blokes overall really. Jack, Hanners, Pykey, Jesse, Jetta, Rohan, TDL etc etc... The future looks so bloody good with this group of blokes. Can't wait to see how much they can do over the next few years. :D"

And I would easily say that in a few years time I am certain Jack will not only be in my top 3 "favourite currently playing players" but in my top 3 "favourite captains of all time". He's a superstar and I hope he has a long, injury-free, successful and rewarding career with the Swans.

The first play is the play I was talking about. Great stuff Kieran. :thumbsu::cool:

I was watching a replay of the Hawthorn game the other day actually, and he does the exact same thing! Seems to be a bit of a signature move for him. It's a great way of applying physical pressure and collecting the ball cleanly without getting into the back or going high.
