Im staggered no-one has mentioned this kids efforts...he has improved 10fold from last year, after an impressive VFL finals series just hung onto a spot then since that hanger in NAB cup game has played like hes 10ft tall. what a sterling job on Franklin, contested in the air magnificently and was only caught out a couple of occasions. Buddy took 5 marks in 4q...I dont wanna hear about the 7 !&$@ pts, Boo hoo...not easy to kick them from the boundary...Looks the likely opponent for Riewoldt..with thursty going to Kosi:thumbsu:

Keep it up Moorey..Like your work

:)Would have to disagree gents.....not too many of those Buddy misses were all that hard.
Should have buried us.
Agree Moore has had a good season and did some good things again yesterday at times, but he was a kick here, a kick there away from being destroyed.
Though he did stick to the task and glad Wallace perservered. Seems to be backing the players more and more this year instead of throwing them all over the shop!

Anything more then 45% round from goal is a lower percentage shot at goal. Id say nearly all buddies kicks were taken from here given his level of experience he did a stellar job

Our most improved player in the last 12 months. His bags were packed and ready for departure but he's turned it around magnificently. A key member of the backline now.

:thumbsu:EACH to their own.

Still think Franklin played a big hand in his own demise (if you call it that!)

Think it's all about perception. Think young Kel's game looked better for what many Tigers fans were expecting...that is...a 10 goal effort.

The hype surrounding Buddy was huge all week. Herald Sun seemingly devoted thre epages a day to they guy.

But young Kel stuck to the task...all you can ask!

Not fair.

He did his job and has improved a lot this year.

McGuane is a worry. Bad decision making, lets balls bounce over his head.

Moore has straightened out. Spoiled Franklin enough times in marking contests.

Dont believe the Franklin hype. He aint no Richo. Maybe just his kicking

watch the replay GD...Moore did exceptionally well in the contested situation...5 marks franklin took...an exceptional job indeed by a defender...if a FF is to rely on kicking his goals in traffic it's always going to be prblematic..In most cases he's ten yards in front on the lead...not yesterday he wasnt

absolutley :thumbsu: well said

in the 3rd and 4th when the game was at its hottest the ball going to the go-to matchwinner franklin was beaten at the contest in the air and on the ground enough timesto give Kel moore a big wrap, stood tall, ran hard, couldnt ask for more in a pressure situation from a player who was a bees d.ick away from the chop.

there are dudes here who need to get with the program. Up against the hottest KPP in the comp and all they can do is what? Complain about his non existence? give me a break fools. Last friday it was who is going to play on Buddy, because we were shit scared of him tearing us a new one. He didnt and Kel was that player who played on him, the end. ;)

Kelvin had him cold when the ball was inside 50, 9 times out of 10. Buddy had to roam far and wide to take a mark. Kel did a stirling job. He has great balance, agile and has a touch of class, i.e. doesnt get phased in the heat of battle, all to often. I like the kid, have done from the start. ;)

Looks like he belongs. Looks like he believes deep down that he has what it takes.
Wallace needs to take a bit of the credit for this. most of us (yep, me) had him gone. Wallace stuck with him, saw the bigger picture.
Got caught out of position a couple of times one-on-one, but quickly learned from it and made sure it didn't happen again. That's the value of this kid. Young player with the mind of a veteran.

One class midfielder and one KPP (probably CHF) away from being top 4 in 2009-10. That's all it will take.
Cotchin and Rance/Putt anyone?
