I was reading the other day about all the indigenous players on AFL lists at the moment and I see Sam Sheldons' name on the Lions list. Now I remember that the Blues could have had him under the father/son rule which raised the question; I don't recall Ken Sheldon (Blues Champion midfielder) ever being described as indigenous???
Can someone shed some light on the matter

yes... ur a genius!

i was also going to suggest that maybe.. just maybe, Sam's mum is indigenous??
Oh! get with it guys. Read the bloody question without and try growing in up and stop being children.
For those who understand the biology of the human reproduction you might just understand that when the AFL mention the "father/son rule it more than likely indicates that the mother had someting to do with the birth. In other words, when someone says he or she is from an indigenous family it could easily be the mother and/or the father was the indengeous factor.
Therfore was "Ken Sheldon" conceived and born from an indigenous mother and/or father or in fact a grandchild of indigenous parent/parents.
That is the question!!!!!

A simple explanation is all that is required. The opening post lends itself to the obvious response.
