Alot of players were taken before Aaron Davey, in both drafts!!!

this was Carlton's biggest error in last years drafting choices. Whilst I agree that plenty of other clubs passed on Aaron prior to us, Carlton was the 1st clubs to choose between the two outstanding goalsneak players in the draft. It was widely acknowledged that Kenna and Davey were equal pegging for this type of player. And unfortunately, the Blues leant the wrong way here!!!
Kenna had just had an outstanding year with Box Hill and was there leading goal scorer and was named in the VFL Team of the Year and Davey was one of the most exciting players in the VFL and had showed bloody plenty. Carlton chose Kenna ahead of Davey and at the time this really ********ed me off because, from what I had seen in the VFL, Davey had more promise. Kenna's size was always going to be a major problem in the AFL. It was fairly obvious. So whilst it was a great trade/draft period for Carlton, this was a blinding mistake!!!
Davey at Fev's feet would've been a fantastic sight to see...

I have seen this bloke play in Qld for 3 years, and he has blistering pace.He is like a Williams with his ball skills, he just needed a proper go.I would have him in Brisbane colours anyday.
