The solution was available to us last year but we let it go.

Trading him obviously, the Club should've have pursued this option vigorously and realistically they didn't and now we're stuck with him.

Not sure, we can send him to the WAFL to get fit and then test him in the AFL.

As a contracted palyer we can trade him I suspect - perhaps we just put him in the bank for a while?

Kerr is a midfielder and midfielder only, I really do not think he is agile enough to crumb in the forward line and would just become another Leccras or mckinley.

He has got to learn how to cope with a tag or he's just going to keep having below average games.

I really have no idea what to do with him.

Trade value has gone down steeply as well
 
I think Kerr spends to much time in the gym. Needs to work on his agility IMO. I saw some footage of him from the good old days looked like he was far quicker and weighed less.

He was effective as an impact player coming off the bench with limited game time. WHy not try that again? We have nothing to lose he is offering nothing at the moment let the young guys have his tag and then he can come on and break the game open. :thumbsu:

Just gave Woosh a blast on his thread and said the same thing.Tag or forward pocket/tackler/crumber.Why if we can all see the bleedin' obvious can worsfold???

Need him to get some physicality (i.e '07 Qual Final...Stephen Salopek) on those bloody scrags hanging off Daniel :mad:

That wasn't a blast - that was an poorly written rant with absolutely no punctuation involved whatsoever. My 2 year old could write an essay with a better command of the english language than you.

I'll bet Woosh is all upset and shit over your "blast"

I was just so impressed by your "blast" you gave woosha. I reckon he was as well. Probably quivering in his little tidy little whiteys he was I reckon.

It would be great to have him back.We need to ditch glass as captain.Waters is not neccessarily in our best 12 players but at his fittest he instils fear into other sides and makes his teamates grow a leg.Woosh wasnt in our best 10 {matera mainy mckint lewis heady jacko kemp mckenna ] alright 8.But his intimidation factor was inestimatible.Look at the hall/staker incident.If waters had been our established captain half the team would have waded in with him.We would have had that culture ingrained.Glass is a nice guy and we have a nice team
 
Its not just Kerr, many of the players on our list need to take some responsability for the role they play within our club. I have no doubt they are trying and when you are losing sometimes the easy way is to not quite give 100% but think you are giving 100%. This is quite common in losing sides.

the way out is for the senior players of the club to lead the way, that means Kerr, lynch, Glass, Cox, etc etc.

We do not need our younger players thinking almost 100% is good enough.

Yes Kerr needs some help but help himself he must do first, be honest with himself and understnad what is required for him to regain his mantle as an a grade player. He can do it we all know he can. he just needs to work harder, much harder. I think he will sort it in time as long as he can come to terms that he is playing in a losing side. that is the thing he is struggling with as some others are.
 
i believe this is the year we will be truly active in trage week, we have no choice, if we want kerr to be useful, he needs another mid like deledio or similar to help him, the kids will take time and aren't guaranteed.

kerr won't change and will keep getting suspended, frustrated and be basically ineffective etc.

it will cost us, but we have a good nucleus of kids anyway, if we get a priority i'd give it up for deledio, burgoyne etc.

Nothing better than seeing a Port player in the foetal position. Can never get enough of that hit.

I'm on my pat malone, but put Lynchy in the middle as a ruck rover or centeman and tell him to keep the flies off kerry.

Lynchy has proved he can get the footy in the middle and just another little bonus, he can kick the ball out of sight!

Kerr will be better off next year when Waters comes back in because I think he will go on the ball as well.
 
kerr was just on channel 7 said that he will be an eagle for life and wants woosha to coach him for the rest of career.
