Kevan Sheedy going to Perth

I have just read an article on www.footygoss.com that Sheedy is going to Perth looking for a ruckman.
I suppose with Salmon gone and Alessio delisted he needs a ruckman to support Hille.
The article says Lalich could be his target !
Is he tall enought o be a ruckman?

Yeah! I read that article too about Kevin Sheedy (Not KevAn) and it's frellin' great! Essendon has lost so many good players in Blumfield, Alessio and now Salmon The Bombers really need some height - so we will be stronger next season

As for Judd Lalich he does have a strong kick, I think he's about about 193cm/195cm and weighs about 89 kg if he's no good as a ruck - we could definately use him if the "Great Sheedy" can get him back to Windy Hill but I reckon Judd is happy playing for East Perth Football Club. Judd did have some good years at Essendon from 1998 - 2001. If he did come back to Windy Hill I reckon he could still wear Number 17 (I believe he still wearing it at The Mighty Royals!!)

he he I just remember Lalich is born in December, like me heaps cool! I don't know if you knew this Rover but Lalich also release a CD about 2001 a bit like Powderfinger music!

We use him part time in the ruck with Turnball usually doing the majority and towards the latter of the season we had Tim Lyster exchanging in the ruck. Lalich played mainly down forward or down back depending on who we played and the size of opponents.

Maybe Turnbull is the target? 31 years old and has been in good form, can play at AFL level, and probably has a year or two in him to support Hille.

It's TurnbUll, not ball. Bloody ferals. I would be surprised if Sheedy wants to take Lalich back - the fans over there were very critical of him and he was there a fair time for Sheedy to get him back (was it 4 years?). Turnbull was very pro-East Perth at the Eagles Best & Fairest and sounded like he wanted to stay there, but I'd say Turnbull is more likely than Lalich. Fewster isn't big enough for a ruckman at AFL level apart from pinch-hitting. And I can't think of anyone else at WAFL level who could make the step up to AFL.

So maybe it's a false rumour!

Me? Cynical? That's an outrageous remark.

He may be coming to Perth for some other reason than to recruit a ruckman (holiday, public speaking, secret liaison, spying on John Worsfold to get his secrets). Who knows?

I also read in the same paper that Matthew Allan may be the answer to Sheeds' ruck problems (according to Allan's manager, as far as I could see )
