The margin flattered us no doubt Lach.

I cannot remember when I have been this devastated and disappointed after a loss.

There are usually some good periods of play somewhere to get positive about , but not yesterday apart from Chopper trying his guts out.

Ah well , the only way to go now is up.

I hope the only way is up. The unwanted fact is we could of, and probably should of, lost by more. Thankfully the tigers couldn't kick straight.

We were diabolical. There was nothing to take out of that game except Chopper trying his heart out, altho we knew he'd do that anyway, and Taz showing for the most part that if we get the ball to him in a decent manner he'll get the job done...but I knew that anyway.

The only positive to come out of this is it forces Harves to take a broom through the side and sweep out all the dead wood.

And good riddance!

I thought if Palmer had nailed those two shots of his we were back in with a chance ... but he didn't and that was the run of the day.

The stats I'm interested in aren't counted. They are the heart stats, the inspiration stats, the have-a-decent-crack stats.

Our guys were insipid. I thought Richmond shut down a few key players in Headland and Carr and that was all she wrote. The defence is looking pathetic at the moment with Grover having the worst game I've ever seen him play. Hayden is also not himself. Dodd and Thornton were almost unseen.

But the B level midfield of Schammer, Crowley, Mundy (played on a wing), Peake, and Duffield were completely ineffective. I've cut Palmer some slack but I don't think he was too hot defensively.

We think Tarrant had a shocker but he racked up more disposal than more than half the team, and half of those were contested possessions.

How about the chase by the big fella though. The streaker had a good 15-20 metre head start and he chased him down over a good 150 metres. He's the one we should be recruiting!

The security guy who chased him down was quite clearly a Richmond supporter. The other security blokes who stood on the sidelines watching, quite clearly Fremantle supporters.

I disagree - i saw plenty of Dodd getting outmarked and pushed aside while Harvey tried to hide him against different opponents.

Thorton i saw plenty of him mis handling the ball and fumbling.

Tarrant had a crack - considering how shitty we were playing he was passable.

As we had only one player over 20 disposals, you might say, in effect, that they had at least 8 of our players extra out there...
