Read this article by Bryan Taylor on Friday and, especially after watching the matches so far this weekend i'm wondering how true what he says rings. Richmond's accuracy wasn't shocking especially when you compare it to Geelong's but I'm still wondering whether, in general, this is truly something clubs can address. A 10% improvement on accuracy would have a great impact on the scoreboard (i'm thinking Moore learning that the ball goes on the center of the boot and Richo realizing that even at 5 metres out he should just smack it like he does at the 50).

i still cant fathom how a professional player could miss a goal as Kel moore did today...seriously he was 5-10m out, is it little wonder he missed that crucial one from 30m out in 2008

he makes a good point. why not find someone capable of teaching it and having actually goal kicking training.
