Kieren Jack, Sydney Swans, has been charged with a level one engaging in rough conduct offence against Matt Suckling, Hawthorn, during the second quarter of the round 19 match between the Sydney Swans and Hawthorn, played at the SCG on Saturday August 7, 2010. In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future re...cord with an early plea.

As for the Hawk though.......... I thought we were lucky to get the 50 let alone see the Hawks Brett Guerra get rubbed out for the sling tackle on Malceski. I guess it was like the Mumford one that saw him get weeks. Thankfully Jack's clean record proved me wrong to think he may get a week or two.

Very good news

I haven't seen it in real time but from those photos that is a solid block in play. It's all very well to be happy he's not missing games but for that to be a report is an insult to football. The rule was brought in to prevent the likes of Byron Pickett poleaxing blokes who had their head over the ball. Now look at what it's become. And we are supposed to be grateful that Jack gets a reprimand?

What Guerra did was far more dangerous than Mumford's tackle.

Apparently on 'One week at a time' last night, Quarters said that 'according to statisticians(sp?), Jack had the most productive game ever, stats-wise, on Saturday afternoon than anyone who has ever played the game before.....ever!!!!

Amazing stuff.

Yeah it was something like based on Champion Data, he had one of the best individual performances ever, which was partly due to really high contested possessions, clearances, score assists and other stuff I can't remember.

Jude Bolton's game against Essendon was one of the best individual performances of the year according to champion data iirc.

How old is Keiran's younger brother now ? Is he like Kieran ? If so, have we got him hidden safely away in the Swans top secret under-water youth development and cloning centre ?

Fancy that, all this for the price of a rookie. Nice bit of shopping that I say.

Not just any old rookie pick either. He was the last player selected in 2005 - all the players listed after him in the official draft list were zone priority picks, actually selected at the start of that rookie draft.

We also have the penultimate player picked in that rookie draft now on our list and he's going pretty well too.

No idea how good he is, but he falls within the Swans' new academy zone.
