Kim Clijsters Comeback?

Rumour has been bubbling away for a few months now, but seems all but certain that Kim Clijsters is announcing her return to the WTA. Holding a press conference on Thursday in her home town to confirm her 2009 plans.

Apparently has asked the US Open for a wildcard, as well as lead up tournaments Toronto and Cincinatti Masters. According to Yahoo.

Given the lack of depth in women's tennis, I have no doubt she could be seeded for a grand slam tournament next year.

Hoefully she can challenge the William Sister's who seem to be dominating the sport again! She has the power and the talent and court speed but has she gotten over the Choke in tight matches! Maybe having a child may have relaxed her and realized that it is not just about tennis! I would love her to return to the Top of the game and win a few more grand slams because she is a much better player then just winning 1 grand slam (2005 US Open)!
