Also side note, Jordan was moved to PG in an experimental move by Doug Collins during the 88-89 season. Jordan in those 11 games would have 10 triple doubles. That's just ridiculous.

Below are his stats, Pts, Reb, Ast. The Bulls only went 5-6 during the stretch but they werent the polished article just yet and played tough teams during the stretch in the Cavs, Detroit twice and Atlanta. Jordan is a freak though. Over the 11 game stretch he averaged 33.6ppg, 10.8rpg and 11.4apg. Could you imagine if Collins had left him there all season. Would we be talking a full season triple double average. Oscar Robertson type season. LeBron is good. He aint MJ though, but it's nothing to be ashamed of. Nobody is.

A noted streak of stat padding where it has been reported he was regularly checking his stats in game which is why so many of those rebound and assist totals are right around ten. Also LMAO at citing Isiah like he was a better player than Durant.

Hahah checking his stats during a game. Ridiculous.

Also hilarious call on Durant over Isiah. You know nothing about basketball :)

Head in the sand fanboy. You never wondered why his rebounding suddenly shot up at PG? Isiah over Durant shows you warp your NBA world view around your undying love of Jordan. He wouldn't even be the best PG in the league in this era.

As for overtaking James, well that happened very quickly. As in while Jordan was still in High School. I think LeBron was ahead until Jordan's senior year in High School which is where MJ took over and never looked back. Jordan despite what you think quickly became the GOAT. In his senior year in High School Jordan became the only player in High School basketball history to average a triple double. Jordan in his senior year at Laney High averaged 29.2ppg, 11.6rpg and 10.1apg. He was selected to the McDonalds All American Team.

Laney High School ain't StV-StM. In his last years of high school, James practically played a college schedule, taking on national powerhouses and playing televised games regularly. And you forgot to mention that Jordan (whose legacy is heavily predicated on him being the ultimate winner) never actually won a state title. As with players from non-major conferences in the NCAA, high school stats have to be taken with a grain of salt. He was not considered the best high school player in his senior year and he didn't win the MVP of McDonald's game.

In College Jordan would be a consensus pick to the NCAA All-American First Team in 83 and 84 and would win both the Naismith and Wooden College Player of the year in 1984. So while LeBron made the jump to the NBA because it was more common in his time. Jordan went the normal way and dominated.

And James went to the NBA and dominated. While plenty may have tried it from 1995 to the mid 00s, hardly any of them became quality NBA players immediately and none of them dominated straight away, like James did. Even if you accept that Jordan was a better HS senior than James (which is ludicrous), how can anyone possibly argue that his freshman year in college was better than James' rookie year in the NBA?

Jordan's High School and college career isnt as storied as LeBron's because there was no internet and tv coverage like there is today. Could you imagine a player now in High School averaging a triple double in his senior year. He would skip college and no #1 in the draft and the hype would even more than LeBron.

Like these guys? Bigger hype than LeBron with any of them...?

So much for Jordan's 'unheard of' triple double season. It happens with multiple players every year.

LeBron didnt pussy out, but he skipped college because he could. It was more common to go straight to the NBA and get big bucks.

And if you put the 1981 high school class in a time machine and dropped them in 2001. Patrick Ewing would have been the earliest selection from that high school class, head and shoulders above anyone, like James was.

Jordan didnt shoot his usual high clip in that series. 41.5% is low for Jordan but you expect Kemp's 55% because he is PF and plays around the rim with much easier and closer shots. You can say whats if and buts with Payton or whatever, Jordan was the best performed player on the winning team. To suggest Kemp should have won Finals MVP is actually ******* hilarious.

Yeah, you could say it was 'low'. 5-19 in the deciding game. That's embarrassing, Kobe in 2010-esque.

Lolz, Rodman now needs consideration? Haha because he rebounded the ball and defended well. Rodman was a big part in our second threepeat but he was in no way, shape or form a Finals MVP at any point.

You seem to be missing the connection. He collected more offensive rebounds than anyone grabbed on the defensive end and more than anyone besides Pippen and Kemp grabbed in total. That's not 'rebounding well'; it's an annihilation on the boards. 11 offensive boards in game 2, when they won by four points, while shooting 39% from the field as a team? Another 11 in the deciding game 7, when they again shot below 40% (including 26% from Jordan)? Yeah, kind of important.

West won because the series went 7 games and game 7 was very close and West dominated despite his team coming up short. Jordan and the Bulls won 4-2. Were leading 3-0. Kemp didnt deserve dick.

It wasn't like there were no options from the Celtics. Havlicek averaged 28 and 11 while playing every minute.

Hahahah you're hilarious! I dont think you ever saw Isiah play. He is probably the second greatest PG of all time you wally.

hey jod23

when jordan went to the wizards did you switch from bulls to wiz too?
Nope, always being a Bulls fan. I wanted the Wizards and Jordan to do well though but im a Bulls fan. Always has been. Jordan's wizard stint was incredible though. To do the things he was doing at 40 was just plain ridiculous.

Imma stop going back and forth with you because neither of us is getting anywhere. You think LeBron is the GOAT or whatever. Good for you :)

Im going to stick with MJ.
