From an outside perspective i think Kosi might be gone for a game (55 carry over points)....

Who would replace him? Is Michael Gardiner a chance, is there any chance of Gherig making a suprise return, even Charlie Gardiner might be a show...

Is there any chance of Luke Ball making it back in, he must be reasonably close.

Yeap, Tim Lane was pointing out that there was simply no way that Kosi could know that Wakelin didn't have the ball, and so all he was doing was continuing to lay (what he thought was) a good tackle, in line with coach's orders for the night, which was obviously to tackle hard.

If he does get suspended, I wouldn't be heartbroken. He played really well tonight (except for a brain-fart 5 minutes in the 2nd half), but Michael Gardiner can play pretty well too. The real question is whether Rossco will revert to Charlie Gardiner to replace Allen now he's injured (pretty gutted for the young fella - first game in ages and out in the first 10 minutes). Hopefully he won't.

Would be a joke. Especially consider Surjan got off for an identical tackle on Harvey. Should be cleared straight away.

if you watch it again you'll see that his head is turned in the tackle so hard no idea the ball had spilt free, but saying that he'll probably get one cause he plays for stkilda.

KB said on SEN said he should get off. Apparently, he helped write the rule for rough play. Lets hope so.

IMO i the afl is a joke if he goes for it, nothing in it!!
if he does go for it, lets go and riot outside the afl headquaters on the wednesday:thumbsu:

the afl will take one look, laugh and throw it out... simple..

They should, but sometimes it feels like there's one set of rules for everyone - then the set for the Saints ... I say it's a CONSPIRACY!

They'll change the rules first thing Monday over a latte.

bingo ... hope not though.

You'd hope he didn't go... was a sling, not an arm pin

the saints should get every QC in the land and ensure he gets off

There was no malice in the incident and unless the AFL have it in for StKilda(they have always seemed to be an orginisation that is enamoured with Hawthorn) then Kosi should play next week. Could classify it as 'wasting everyone's time' type of report.

Two things for Kosi;-
1. It was surely within the spirit of the game - tough.
2. History of other players getting off, especially in finals (read BBBB. Hall vs Goose Maguire for one.)
Two things against Kosi;-
1. He plays for the Saints and we all know how the Tribunal have crucified us in the past (apart from one recent week where they saw fit to exonerate - which was the correct thing to do.)
2. He is Kosi - the unluckiest player in the AFL.

That was a seriously legitimate question. But oh well.

stupid thing to say fehring he was just asking a question
and toanswer it ..... i dont no :p nar i think he was fine before the head injury

if kosi gets ruled out for this it will be worse than the baker suspension

I think you'll find Barry got a AFL pardon for services to expanding the code.

kosi will easily get off all it is, is a good tackle the only thing was weaklin let go of the balle just before hitting the ground wen kosi has his head in the opposite direction, so no way he cood stp that he wil get off:)

Just saw the incident and if Barry Hall plays for punching Matt Maguire about a great wall of china's length from the ball and Kosi is suspended for a tackle when he couldn't see the ball spilled out then i think it's fair to say the AFL is in love with Sydney and has something serious against the Saints. Who reported him anyway? Must've been some dumbass umpire.
