i was at the game and saw it.. he got flattened by simmonds on the boundary line after he kicked it and as they were running back into the play kozi caught up to him and gave him a jab in the guts.. not much in it really but you never know.. i reckon he'll get a reprimand

"The match day report against St Kilda's Justin Koschitzke for striking Troy Simmonds was assessed. It was the view of the panel that the level of impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence."

I like the sound of that, but source?

What a waste of time. Why don't the umpires just forget reporting at the time and do it all by video. As it happens, Kosi lifted, but it could easily have put him off; all for an every day football incident.

Kosi held onto the ball just a tad too long - giving Simmonds a legitimate reason to crunch him in a tackle just after Kosi kicked it. (Could have been an awareness thing or could have been a sacrificial move to allow the time for his kicking target to get clear). Anyway after the tackle, Simmonds ran past the prostrate Kosi and laid in his knee to Kosi's side/thigh - just to add further to Kosi's dislike of the tackle. Kosi took exception to this action and ran past throwing a fist into Simmonds' chest region - it just brushed across his chest - but it was done to show that he wasn't going to meekly accept the knee. Nothing in except tit for tat.
