Knowing that neither has played a game this pre-season, It would be appreciated if the club can give us an idea of how they're tracking...

After all when fit & firing they are in our best 22.

Was this supposed to be an email to the CFC?

No. Just a general question to anyone that might have an update to where these three guys are currently at in relevance to Rd1 - Rd2...

I made mention of the club because they have barely mentioned anything on Brock & Hoops' whereabouts and the last we heard about Kreuzer is that he is only 50-50 to play Rd1. None of them have been named in the last NAB cahllenge game this weekend and it would be nice if the club could state where there currently at with their fitness.

Curnow >>>>>>>> Mclean
Walker >> Hoops
Warnock < Kreuzer

Houla played intra-club #1

Plus lol at

Walker > Houla Harder, Faster, Stronger, more athlectic, more likely to take a contested mark, more versitile.

& Warnock > Kreuzer Typo, but I don't think we're losing much with a fully fit knockers and hamma vs a recovering Kruz

Seems a few people have jumped off the Mclean ban wagon, would have copped a heap of flack for that 6 months ago.

Houla is a better shutdown player
More skillful
More consistent
Underrated in his toughness
Hits a target every time
Slots them in from any angle

We know exactly where Kreuzer is at, continuing his rehab and beginning to join full training step-by-step. I think he'll be a round 8ish-onwards prospect.

McLean apparently (I'm not sold on that info) has had some ankle soreness but was always going to be treated with kiddy gloves this pre-season, which was well documented late last year, after being a bit too keen in 2010 and broke down (x3 ?).

Houlihan is a bit of a misnomer. He is one of our oldest players and has been known to known to have a few soft tissue injury concerns. Perhaps they feel as if they want Hoops fit and firing for later in the season and finals rather then letting him go early and come the end of the season being injured/burnt out.

Only Kreuzer is on a few of the injury lists I have scoped out FWIW.

Agreed. I wish Walks was as good, but he isn't.

Kreuzer adds much more grunt to our midfield than McLean ever could. Kreuzer is up there with Judd in terms of contested play.

When he comes back in round 10 or so we will see just how much we missed him :thumbsu:

If we can get the Walker that played in the Sydney final on a consistent basis then I'd take him every time. However, I concede the point you have all made in regards to Hoops. It's not as if I'm on the Hoops hate bandwagon (I've personally never understood it, as he's been one of my favorites).

I'm not expecting Kreuzer to be back at his best until 2012. When he comes back into the team if he can gain his confidence back, stay healthy and steadily improves from where he starts off at I believe he'd have had a great year.

Walker > Houla Harder
- why was he dropped last year?

Faster,Stronger, more athlectic,[/
- maybe but houla is a better footballer
more likely to take a contested mark,
-
more likely to fly for the impossible while houla plays the percentages
more versitile- both are versatile

More likely to hit a target, more likely to kick goals.

Houlihan is one of the most gifted players on our list. When he plays well he is up there with the best. Yes, he has his bad games , but who doesn't, every player has bad games.

I have never understood the angst toward's him.

Houlihan over Walker any day. More skillfull and great kick, Walker is to inconsistent, a fit athlete ?
Kreuzer could be the difference in us making top four or being also rans again.
Mclean well what can you say, injury prone and if he does not string at least 15 games this year. then you would have to look at seriously getting rid of him. He is playing on name alone at the moment, and has not even been named against Geelong . Not ideal preparation for the up coming season.

Not to concerned with it to be honest.

Kreuzer will be eased in ever so gently (as he should) and will return when the club are sold on his fitness/recovery. No Rush....
But geez i cant wait till he returns :thumbsu::cool: Rounds 8-10

Hoops will be a handy player, will need to work quite hard to nail a spot, hopefully he stays injury free and we get some good footy from him. Couldn't be too far away you'd think.

McLean  to be honest he hasn't played a lot of footy in the last few years at all, and will go into this season lacking match practice. Personally (and shoot me down if you wish, its just my opinion) i don't see Brock ever cementing a place or delivering the footy we expect from him. I think he's just too injury prone.

Sticky this.

Absolutely agree with this.

Not trying to bag McLean as I do rate him when fit and firing but Kreuzer's impact is phenomenal on our midfield, especially for someone so young.

Personally, there is a half-forward-flank on each side of the ground, all things being equal, I want them both on the ground. :thumbsu:

Walker a 3rd tall/ marking player. houla defensive role on oppo half back playmaker (Sam Fisher, Enright, Heath Shaw etc).
