cotchin's had 3 shockers in finalsI know Cotchin had a bad final and they're completely different players ... but is this really a question at all??? Cotchin far and away the better player
cotchin's had 3 shockers in finals
tell me who kreuzer would not get a game for ??Cotchin would easily get a game in every team in the league. Kruezer would get a game in less than half of them.
Adelaide, Brisbane, Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, GWS, Melbourne, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Richmond, West Coast all have superior first rucks, and Kreuzer isn't suited to the second ruck roletell me who kreuzer would not get a game for ??
Couldn't disagree more. Kreuzer is the perfect second ruck - he is a threat forward and agile enough to go with any ruck in the competition.Adelaide, Brisbane, Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, GWS, Melbourne, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Richmond, West Coast all have superior first rucks, and Kreuzer isn't suited to the second ruck role
Except that he fails to produce that whenever he has to, you know, play as the second ruck. He's a poor forward.Couldn't disagree more. Kreuzer is the perfect second ruck - he is a threat forward and agile enough to go with any ruck in the competition.
He's probably the best ruck-forward/second ruck in the competition behind Tippett and it's the hardest role to fill adequately at AFL level.
At his best Kreuzer is ahead of Cotchin but just can't stay on the paddock enough. Majority of their careers & for consistency Cotchin would have his nose in front.
Who out of that bunch plays serious ruck minutes and at a level even remotely close to Kreuzer?Except that he fails to produce that whenever he has to, you know, play as the second ruck. He's a poor forward.
And no, he isn't. I'd take Jenkins, Stanley, Clark, Dixon, Vickery, Bruce, Tippett and Lycett ahead of him in that role.

At Cotchins best he won a brownlow. Kruezer has neve been anywhere near that level
Goodes in either 03 or 04.Not saying I rate Kreuzer ahead of Cotchin, but this is just ridiculous logic. When was the last time a ruckman won the Brownlow?
Goodes in either 03 or 04.
The logic being that Cotchin was voted the best midfielder in the league, the same year he won the AFLCA Award. Has Kruezer ever been even top 5 in his position? Not saying I rate Kreuzer ahead of Cotchin, but this is just ridiculous logic. When was the last time a ruckman won the Brownlow?
