Kumble can't help himself can he? A bitter old man still obviously holds a grudge about the sydney test, and simply can't get over it.
For a guy who always pretended to be the "gentleman" cricketer, he needs to take off his anti-australian glasses. Kumble was much short of a gentleman cricketer and only cultivated this reputation when he got on the rough side of 35.
The cricketer i remember was a fiercely competitive cricketer in the ilk of a Hansie Cronje at his peak, and suddenly he was trying to pretend he was a baston of good and virtue. Is this the same guy who cavorted and screamed like a child when he took his 10th wicket in an innings, at least 3 of which were highly questionable decisions against the visiting pakistan team?

The Australians always seem to get away. Whatever their transgressions on the field, invariably it is their opponents who end up paying a price.
