Was around 40 on the track when I popped out there tonight. Top 3 would be my expectation but have been wrong in the past.

Some clubs are Pushing hard to get 4 on the bench which would mean it’s a lot easier to rotate rucks on and off the ground.

4 on the bench is the best thing that could happen!!!!
Bring a shining thirds kid up, a 2s player thats shown promise, or if you have depth, another gun into your weaponry.
If your struggling for numbers that's unfortunate, that 4th person will more than likely be a kid that's played 3rds and 2nds and is now just the old fashion "bench warmer". Your team has done it in previous years with 3 on the bench, that 4th now doesnt come into rotation, stiff!

Not just that the Minimum number before a forfeit has increased from 14 to 16 so some clubs may technically have to find 3 extra players some weeks

So in the last H/A game in 24 both Murch and Stanhope were maxed out on points using 21 players, so do you want them to drop a 3 pointer to the twos so you can bring 2 ,1 pointers in .
Also re $ ,what do the clubs do that pay all senior players a base amount, it may have just added $100 a game to the salary cap.

Salary cap shouldn’t be affected by your 22nd player, but an additional point or 2 is necessary. Other leagues that have 22 players start at 46 points, and then the league does their deductions/increases based on previous years performances. KDL starts at 44 due to 21 players. So should add 2 points to each team

Murray has had 22 players for the whole of the systems existence and they have been given no concession for having 22 . When GVL and KDL only had 21, it was a loophole which the KDL have enjoyed .

You’ll find most kids are more then 1 pointers because not all clubs have full juniors

Yeah very interesting not sure i agree with it considering the bottom age is the same as the U15s so not like its allowing a few extra numbers

Anthony Mcdonald-Tipungwuti hasn't come to fruition for the Hoppers. Was well and truly in the works but not to be. Not sure how he fits in that side anyway.

Semmel back to Stanhope after "The Recruit" failed to reboot the series due to Vossy coaching Carlton now. Big get for them if true - wonder the pricetag
