It’s a final 6. Longwood are a lock to make finals. They’ll finish 5th with 10 or 11 wins and play Nagambie in the finals. Is it a top 5 or 6 for this league? How many more wins do Longwood need to qualify for their first final series? If they make it does anyone think they can do any damage?
Not sure I have the order correct but pretty sure it isIt’s a final 6. Longwood are a lock to make finals. They’ll finish 5th with 10 or 11 wins and play Nagambie in the finals.
This Saturday will be huge for Longwood, they’ll absolutely blow the lid off if they can defeat Avenel!
They then finish the year against Tally which you’d expect would be another W.
The Final 6 looks settled. Rushy should beat both Gig and Undera, to keep Stanhope out.

Elim 1: Nagambie v Longwood
Elim 2: Shepp East v Rushworth
FINALS Week 2:

Great call.

Absolutely. I'm pretty sure that many followers of this league have hoped for but never quite expected this to be a thing. If only the great John Carrot was still with us.Pretty fair call I think mate? There Longwood vs avenal would be the only game I’d be watching the rest of them are very lop sided.
If you’re ever feeling nostalgic have a read back through some old KDL forums for Carrot’s great work. Very proud Legger.Absolutely. I'm pretty sure that many followers of this league have hoped for but never quite expected this to be a thing. If only the great John Carrot was still with us.

Word on the street is that the Picola league believe they have 9 KDL teams ready to jump ship to them if the exit doesn't eventuate.Where are the clubs/league at with the "exiting the AFLGM hub" situation?
Is it likely to happen at the end of this season?
There's probably a few that may consider.. but 9 seems excessive. How accurate would that be in your eyes as someone associated with a KDL club?
The AFL does SFA for footy in country Victoria. It takes its home state for granted and threatens leagues who won't conform with denial of players to pathways. I've followed a certain young bloke from the KDFL to the GVFL, VAFA, NTFL, Riverland FL, far north QLD and back to the Riverland FL. Country Victoria under the AFL is fodder. For leagues fearing repercussions for leaving the AFL structure, guess what? They don't own the game! There's probably a few that may consider.. but 9 seems excessive.
Something that leagues should seriously consider. The AFL does not own the game and runs the risk of of being usurped as the preferred competition in an age where media rights extend far beyond free to air coverage.Where are the clubs/league at with the "exiting the AFLGM hub" situation?
