Kyle Reimers - Goth/Emo Superstar

Kyle Reimers is an absolute gun on the footy field, and will be one of Essendon's next stars! But that said he should be congratulated for being the first goth/emo to make it in AFL. Like Bachar Houli is inspirational to middle eastern kids, Kyle should be inspiration for all those dyed black haired, long fringed, pale skinned and black fingernailed emo/goth males to get out of their dark, dingy, incense laden bedrooms and get out onto the footy field! There's alot more to life than listening to MyChemical Romance or Panic at the Disco - like playing footy! Kyle you are inspiration to this ol' goth - I'm ditching the cape for a footy jumper and looking to make a come back down at the local!!!!

you do realise an emo is someone who constantly whinges about everything, saying how bad the world is, my girlfriend dumped me i need to slit my wrist etc etc. also emos are people who would rather cry in a corner then get into a fight..

i would say kyle is the exact opposite of an emo. just because he died his hair doesnt make him emo or goth for that matter.

emo's/goths dont play footy as they try in every way to avoid doing something that people would consider normal..

haha and saying reimers is emo because he died his hair black? what do you call that? a bit of a sweeping generalisation and stereotyping there?

are those generalisations not true? the emo "music" incorporates all those veiws of lets complain and whinge about everything and thats what being emo is is it not? listening to music that complains about everything and then incorporating that into your own veiws.

Ill admit i dont know anything about what the kid is like outside of footy, i dont normally concern myself with players interests outside of footy too much unless its somehow related to footy. But saying he is emo/goth because he died his hair black is pretty dodgy and something that kyle would probably take offence to. Most people who get called an emo take it offensively from my knowledge anyway

Yep... Kyle Reimers is definitely far more Goth then Emo.

Darth Vader was emo - he was just cut up about losing his wife, and in the end couldn't hack what the Emperor was doing to Luke Skywalker.

He's Emo, but the meaning Emo has changed these days, its more of a Heavy Rock, Black Hair and I am different sort of thing.

All the emo's I know don't cut their wrists or do anything like that, they just do it for attention. The real cause of it is family problems (eg. Parent Breakup's).

Whatever happend to just being a normal bloke who likes a beer with mates, watching footy and dressing in normal clothes.

Im 19 and if your not into the Fluro metro **** look your either into the tight jeans, dyed black hair emo stuff.

Walk into shops like cotton on, half the time you can't tell what is blokes and whats for Women.

Theres nothing wrong with a pair of jeans, casual shoes and a polo shirt or a normal t-shirt.
