Thought he was very good last night, quick hands, hard, experienced body, certainly one of his best games for the club, when we really needed him to stand up. We lost a lot of pace and defensive pressure from our forward line and he really played a huge role in helping overcome that.

Nothing wrong with his game last night. He's a midfielder playing as a small forward and did it with aplomb. Good vision and clean hands. Very happy to have him given we got him for nothing

Best game for the club IMO. I’ve liked what he’s brought to the side this year. Always seems to play his best games when he’s covering for Schultz’s position. Not saying he’s better then Schultz, but he’s a pretty good temporary replacement.

Yeah agree with this. He's most likely not going to be in the best 22 when everyone's fit, but he seems to be growing in confidence, he's a nice depth option to have. Loved his goal tonight.

Starting to get a few overagers/late developers who went un-drafted and had to find another way. Think Checkers, Ned Long, Sullivan, and now Roan Steele. They’re all highly motivated, hungry for success and grateful for the opportunity. Been a good strategy for us and I’m sure there are more out there just waiting for a chance.
