Lack of depth???

From an impartial point of view i think it is alarming that essondons frontliners were their top 4 players on the weekend, Lloyd, j johnson, hird and fletcher yet they were still thumped. In most other sides if the top 4 players performed well, if not a win then, then a close contest would be assured.(eg, hawthorn crawford everrit mitchell croad best). Is there any hope of the bombers competing in finals this year??

Our top 4 were good, our kids were good (Bradley, Lovett, Monfries, Dyson, Haynes).
It has been our middle tier that have been giving us nothing this season.
Solomon, McPhee, Rama (while he was playing), Murphy, McVeigh etc just aren't giving us enough.

I would think - even though he wasn't playing on Saturday night - that Cupido fits into that 'middle tier' group quite easily.
