My rough guess for this season ladder, who do you think will make the eight etc.

1. Hawks
2. Bulldogs
3. Cats
4. Port
5. Crows
6. Pies
7. Blues
8. Tigers

What do you guys think? I would say it will be close between 5 - 8 with a few teams competing for those spots. And also please visit the tourism Malaysia web site http://www.tourismmalaysia.gov.my/ :)

We can bump this thread at the End of the year and see who was closest!!

1. Cats

2. Dogs

3. Hawks

4. Power

5. Swans

6. Blues

7. Crows

8. Saints

FWIW I think Geelong are going to do what the Bombers did in 2000 (after we beat em in the 99 Prelim) after a dissapointing GF in 08.

Please tell me you're kidding. If they make the finals, they will only just make it. The only way they will make it into the top four is if Riewoldt kicks 70+ goals (they don't have any other decent forwards - Koschitzke is pathetic) and if Goddard, Sam Fisher, Hayes and Ball all fire consistently.

Anyway, here's my prediction (but it will be way off)

1 - Cats

2 - Hawks

3 - Blues

4 - Bulldogs

5 - Magpies (although it makes me cry)

6 - Tigers

7 - Saints

8 - Lions

These positions could be swapped around a bit if you add in the Roos and the Swans, who will probably just miss out (but I hope the Swans fall a lot further than that...)

I hope the Lions rise a bit more than that too...

With 1 1/2 games between 2nd and 12th with 1 round to go, so I reserve the right to switch any of those sides positions and still be right.:thumbsu:

I disagree with that mate, I don't think we are good enough yet to make the top 3. I think 5 - 8 is more realistic for us this season.

I agree with you (no offence or anything). I was basically finished and there was a still a gap at three, so I threw in the Blues there.

Geelong
Hawthorn
Western Bulldogs
Carlton
St Kilda
Collingwood
Brisbane
Essendon (if they don't have 20 guys out injured again)

No prizes for guessing 9th, a certain team have a 90 year lease on that spot.

Port and Kanga's may screw this up as usual but I think Adelaide and Sydney will struggle.

West Coast could surprise.

The teams in bold all have strong potential to be somewhere in the bottom half of the top eight, all depending on the close wins/losses, injuries and their draws.

What has Port done to be in the top 4 in some people's lists?
