Laidley's Contract

Just wondering if the Roos were to get belted by or even just lose next week to the Hawks and go out of the finals in straight sets how much would that affect Laidley's position at the table regarding his push for a 3 year deal to coach the Roos? Would the Roos board gain the upper hand in negotiations if this was to happen? Could it see Laidley let go by the Roos regardless of the fact he took them from 3rd last to top 4 in 12 months?

This is not a pot shot at the him or the club after today but serious questions as he seemed pretty set on wanting a 3 year deal when I heard him interviewed on the radio Friday night.
