The Lakers lost to Sacremento today but still they performed quite well

Quite simply the Kings had their birthday, everything they tried worked and everyone performed immaculately

How often will you see, on the same night, Mike Bibby drop 21 points, Doug Christie gets 12 points 7 reb and 7 asts, with the team shooting treys at 67%

Very unlucky were the Lakers, any other side would have been spanked.

I still cannot see the Kings being able to do what they did tonight 4 times within a week.

and didn't Devo and Lockyer24 say the championship should go to the lakers and Devo said that the gap between them and any other team is so large... well i guess they were wrong!

Devo.. stick that up ur skirt..

There is a huge gap, The Kings whilst being a fantastic side had their best night ever, everything went right and they still only beat the Lakers by 6

The sun even shines on a dog's arse some days

P&P.....you must live in Devo's dreamworld... As soon as LA lost a game your quick to make excuses. Lets look at this from a different angle, the Kings beat them because there a great unit and the Lakers are just a team on the Shaq and Kobe train...

The Kings had 6 guys in double figures scoring compared to just 3 from the Lakers. Fair enough they shot the lights out from 3pt land but i figure that that will only become more and more of a given once C-Webb returns. The Kings have a host of outside shooters in Stoja, Bibby, Turkoglu and Bobby Jackson. With Webber in the post demanding double teams they are only going to get more open looks.

If the Kings, who are apparently miles behind the Lakers and will never beat them, can actually beat LA WITHOUT Webber then i fear for the Lakers and there fans.

2 down, 8 to go :D

And with Webber to come back as well :o

Yep damn straight... Sacremento played without their star foward, CHRIS WEBBER!!! so if he was playing add his average score and Sac wouldve beat LA by 33 points! :o

fact of the matter is..

LAKERS AINT UNBEATABLE!!!

hahahah... ~~~~~~
not as simple as that mate...

No team is unbeatable. I hate the Lakers, I cant stand Shaq and think Kobe is a smartarse but I will give them credit, they are playing well. I cant see any team beating them 4 times in a playoff series. The Kings played well, and will be even stronger with the return of Webber, which could be in the next few days, but I could be wrong on that.

The lakers will get beaten again, because not everything will go their way every night. Some nights like the one against the Kings, they lose a game even though the Kings will be bolstered by a raring to go Webber. I still cant see anyone beating the Lakers in a playoff series, whether they lose 1, 10 or 20 more games this year.

It was one of the nine games I predicted the Lakers to lose. I was right. I will be right about the Lakers winning the Championship, and I reckon I'm right about the Lakers beating Chicago's record.

Having said that, Sacremento is a fantastic team, and in any other year, would be favourites to represent the West in the Final Series, but can they beat the Lakers three times at home, and once at the Staples Centre. I doubt it.

I repsonded appropriately to the level of your post.

If you respond in an articulate and intelligent manner than i shall grace you with a similar reply but when you talk complete and utter rubbish there is but only one level of response the is avaliable.

Devo, just wondering...are you at all wary of any teams or are you just supremely confident that nobody will even come close to beating the Lakers. I suppose i know how you feel as when the Bulls reigned supreme i was scared of nobody because i knew the Bulls would beat them. The only team i think you should be wary of is the Kings, to lose to them without Webber is a concern.

I stated at the very start of the season that the Lakers will either win the Championship or lose in the Western Conference playoffs. The reason. Sacremento. They are the only team I fear, but can they beat the Lakers 4 times in a series, even with Webber. I doubt it, but if they do, they'll win the Championship, and thoroughly deserve it.

Yeah thats the real question. Every team in the history of the NBA has been beatable but whether or not you can win 4 out of 7 against the Lakers is the real test? Its a tough ask, but if anyone can do it the Kings can.
