.....after a trey from Robert Horry on the buzzer.

The Lakers were down by 6 with less then 2 minutes to go, but a clutch basket by Kobe (he IS a finisher) as well as a couple of free throws from Shaq got them back into the game.

This series is going to go down to the wire, a few baskets either way will decided the series.

the kings didnt deserve to lose
i watched it live and well i couldnt believe it
how does horry keep doing that
he made another three with a few mins to go that really got the lakers where they needed to be i think that cut the lead to 3 that one ... where as they had struggled to break into the 5 points down barrier most of the 4th
i hope the kings win cause i think they are the better team

what a win by us !
After 1 preriod it was kings 40 - lakers 20 !
Unbelievable and you would have to favour the lakers from here. The Kings would be devastated !

Now the Lakers have to do it at Arco. Tough ask, but the Lakers are good enough. Bigger contributions from Fisher, Walker and Shaw are going to be needed if the Lakers are to three peat.

I can't beleive they won, I watched the game live and Kobe & Shaq are big sooks and whats with the refs, some bad calls or should I say home court calls.

I'm hoping the Kings can bounce back and take the series in 6 or 7.

Peja should be back so that will give them (kings) another shooting option.

Comon Kings and Comon Celtics.

That was totally f*cked. What a fluke. They weren't even going for the 3. They were going for the tie, but missed two lay-ups, only for Horry to get the open three with a second left.

I'd be very upset if I was a Kings fan. The little green leprechaun, must have made his way from the defunct Boston Garden to the new home of the Lakers.

Big clutch play from a clutch player. Horry has always seem to elevate his game come playoff time. He did it with the Rockets in their 2 championships, and again is proving how valuable he can be.

If Kobe WAS a finisher he would have scored on his drive to the bucket with seconds remaining to tie up the ball game. He choked and wilted when Divac challenged his shot...then Shaq looked like he didnt even want it in the dying seconds as Divac again came up big on defence...the ball spills to a wide open Horry and with a little luck he cans it and they win.

Could be the straw that breaks the camels back. Kings would be devasted and if they dont hold strong and win game 5 ... its over.

Pity too cos i truly believe without my obvious bias that the Kings are the better of the two teams. The Kings go deeper on the bench, play real team basketball and have the necessary players (C-Webb and Stoja) to win the important games. Had the best record of the season and it would be a pity to see them miss out on a reward for there hard work.

Excuse me, I've been saying that for the past month and you have been shooting me down.

Horry has a reputation as a great clutch player, especially in the playoffs. This is surprising when you consider his game. Horry is unlikely to create his own shot (like a Reggie Miller) and would be one of the ‘easier’ NBA players to defend. Yet, a defensive player will still drift off him to help with a double team or rebounding in important situations. He then hits the wide-open three.
