someone used those exact words to me on a footy field maybe 25 years ago and for whatever reason I still remember it clear as day

it does complicate things that they played together for a year, might be some history there. could explain why it has made it this far

Jesus christ hipwell, you dont remember speaking to the integrity officer on the phone or what you said yourself but you 100% guarantee you heard the slur. He's lucky this isnt an actual court.. a KC would have a field day with him.

A lesser standard would be common. Usually the balance of probability.

I think he gets done. And I'm ok with that because I think he's probably guilty. But at the same time what if he's not?

What a travesty of justice that would be.

I think this is really only the expected punishment should the evidence be found against him and not automatic.

I really don't know how he can be guilty based on a he said she said scenario without witnesses or further evidence. Collard is walking a mighty fine line though.

I thought the initial lot of evidence said there was no one around/no one heard.

Vice versa Collard has already immediately admitted when questioned in the past and this time vehemently denies it.

Like I’m struggling to see how you’re pinning him on this evidence.

The player can’t remember what he said to Collard. But remembers without a doubt what Collard said.
