Started well but faded badly on the smaller Dome after doing a lot of chasing last week.

17 disposals - 12 kicks, 11 marks - 3 contested, 2 inside 50, 1 tackle, 1 FF, 2 hit outs, one first disposal, 1 clearance, 3 goals.

He didn't do anything in the 2nd half, but I was very pleased with his first half.

Whitnall moves on from Craigieburn

Craigieburn coach Paul Barnard said Whitnall would be a valuable addition to the club, which also recruited former AFL players Angelo Lekkas and Ang Christou during the pre-season.

"He fell into our laps late," he said.

"He's got three cousins who play at the club one in seniors and two who are in the reserves at this stage.

But a sudden change of heart saw Whitnall headed west, lining up for the Eagles against Doutta Stars in Round 2 of the EDFL A Grade season where he made an instant splash, booting eight goals.
