I'd give Angwin a chance with a preseason or late draft pick. Wouldnt take him with anything good tho.

Nup, reckon he's done his dash. He couldn't even stay on the straight & narrow enough for a local league team to keep him on their list. Pagan would be about the most patient, forgiving coach in the the business & for him to Angwin let go, something has got to be drastically wrong with the boy.

Unfortunately its usually something negative.
Both clubs assigned minders to him and gave him every opportunity to succeed. He takes everything you've got and ********es it up against the wall.
Amazingly he feels remorse and absolute devastation after the event but he'll do the same thing again when you give him another chance.

Clubs would kill for the type of talent he has but the guy cant handle responsibility. Its ok for us mere mortals to go out and make folls of ourselves but if you play AFL at that level you are a role model and expected to act accordingly. Laurie took a lot more than one e that night and rather than admit to it like Karl he denied it. He caused a lot of ******** within the playing group and they made the decision to f him off. If the dons do give him a chance I hope he makes the most of it. Its sad to see someone waste lifes opportunities expecially given the amount of repreives he has had.

TBH if pagan couldn't get him into shape i really doubt if sheedy could...you never know. all the collingwood fans would dine out on it though, with the "culture" claims.
given that its a talented player for dead set nothing, if he got his game and discipline set he would be well worth it, but it's too big an if for any club without a gun disciplinarian coach. basically port and essendon are the only two clubs i could see turning him around.
