It's the group that come and reshuffle the leadership and try to hand extra responsibility on the playing group to lead and drive themselves. It is what lead to Geelong's playing group suspending Steve J and telling Gary Ablett Jnr he needed to work harder on the training track. It is also something the dogs have done with Aker been told not to handstand etc. I think St Kilda did something similar with probably less noteable success. The first thing they do is pretty much have all the players sit in a circle with an open forum for the players to go through each player and tell them what they think they need to stop doing, start doing and continue doing.
Does anyone think we should give this sort of thing ago. After hearing Wakes article talking about how some players get to a level and get content and stop working as hard as needed, and the likes of Bucks and Burnsy clearly being frustraighted with the leadership group not having enough of a say in some decisions do you feel this is something we should undertake?
