LeCras Hypothetical

If a club offered us a draft pick (or a package of players/picks) for LeCras, would you take it?

What would be an acceptable offer? Top 10 pick? Top 20?

I'd imagine there's a few clubs who would think he would be a valuable investment. If he wanted to leave (for whatever reason) I doubt we'd take less than a first rounder.

Personally I don't think he wants to leave or we would even want to trade him. He's still developing as a player, has put in some very special performances and has one of the best kicks at our club. I'm just throwing it out there for discussion.

was watching a game a couple of weeks ago and they showed what they thought were the top 5 small forwards in the competition, and didn't include LeCras. Had Milne, Rioli, Betts and two others.

Don't see why we'd entertain trading him at all, unless a team came to us with an offer far too good to refuse.

The club has invested the time in him and now he is what he is, why give him up for a speculative return?

i said in another post that lecras/mckinley/kennedy could provide a deadly forward line (in the fashion of a franklin/roughead/rioli) for the next few years.

this is blatant homerism and senseless optimism wrapped in a myth but i reckon if a couple of them fire in any given game we can beat a lot of teams in this comp.

The club would not trade him. He has not even turned 23 yet, and is the best player by miles in our forward line.

I would trade him for either part of that deal. Mainly the first part. Although, really, we only need about a dozen Gary Abletts. Maybe a half dozen seniors too.
