Opinion LED Signage

Surely I was not the only one who hated the stupid way the signs flashed white after every one of our goals? The continual white flashes after each goal made me feel sick. Not against the idea, but I think it really needs to be toned down somewhat. What were other people's thoughts?

Not a fan of the flashing signs. They were very distracting at the ground. Even the normal ads were probably a bit too bright.

I did like the black and white 'flag' effect they had going before the game though.

Was too bright and distracting, and needs to be toned down. BTW its a Etihad thing, not just us (I assume). Guy next to me thought he would have to go home, was making him feel unwell.

It was terribly hard on the eyes. Very bright.
The real problem, which I think would really bother some people, was the way they kept moving along 'the fence' and then back again.
It was so distracting

I didn't mind the B&W flashing after the goals, but the ads during the play are unacceptable

I wouldn't mind it flashing after goals…if it wasn't so bright that it gave me a headache

It was a real pain in the arse and very distracting, especially if you were sitting on level 1 as we were. Next to impossible to follow the play on the other side of the ground with some of the ads/colour combinations and the fact that they weren't static and moved. Colour was also too bright, and it was a good thing we didn't kick many goals as the strobing white light after each goal almost triggered epileptic seizures. The black and white stripes pregame looked good but all in all, verdict is

Of course it's about money.
They want to shine those LED ads in our faces like the hecken Indians that kept on calling me today offering me free LED Downlights.
Even after I told the dumb bastard I have LED lights in house he kept on trying to convince me.
That's what those signs are trying to do. Convince us to use advertised product even though we don't care.

I went to the Richmond and Carlton game last week and thought the LED signs are only at the MCG.
They are everywhere.
The ones at MCG did not annoy me as much as the ones today at Etihad.
I could put up with it more than some others.
My 12 year old daughter hated it.
She says she got a headache from them.

Yep it made me feel unwell, (and I'm generally fairly robust,) but I also figured we weren't going to score much so I toughed it out/closed eyes after a goal.

Absolutely hated it! I almost went blind after we scored our first goal and they started flashing all of a sudden!
