Leigh Brown RIP

One of the great people behind the scenes at the Swans Leigh Brown has sadly passed away. Leigh worked in recruiting, helping with the reserves and many other roles for the club in Melbourne.
Leigh was so highly thought of in footy in Victoria he was used by Footy Vic. to lecture at Coaching courses.
His passion for the Swans for over 20 years will be missed by all.

To be honest, I'd never heard of him but it sounds like he was a loyal servant of our great club.

I forgot to mention that he was a runner for the club and also worked on the fitness of the players as he was a lecturer in Fitness and Heath at RMIT. Also when we had the alignment with Port he was an assistant coach.

Leigh was a wonderful person and a wonderful ambassador for the AFL. He will sadly be missed by a lot of people in the AFL scene. RIP Leigh and I wish his family and friends all the best for the future.

I just learnt of this Leigh coached myself in Schoolboys at the Western Jets I asked someone about him, this is gutting and a reminder to tell everyone what they mean to you If they've made an impact.
