Congrats on a great career. Apparently keen to get into coaching, could add something to our coaches box for sure.

What a great career he has had, nothing fancy, but just a good honest player.
Very sad the day we traded him as he had been one of the first to re-sign with us in the "dark days".

I think now only Pav is still going strong(?), out of that particular group of young players...hope it's a long time before we are posting about him.

All the best for the future, Leroy.

Although we are looking for an experienced line coach, Leigh brown would also be worth a look at as young assistant.

Why do you say that?

Anyway, well done to Leroy. Took a while to realise his potential, but he got there in the end. I wasn't too sad to see him go, from reports about the place he was asking way overs for his contract which annoyed me a the time because he was FAR from the consistent player he became in his last couple of years.

Still can't take away from the his whole journey, he's done good. Congrats on a solid career.

I hope he closes out his career with another premiership.

As for a career in coaching, as a soon to be retiree as well as a premiership, possibly dual premiership player and a bit of a journeyman player he ticks a few boxes for an assistant position. No idea if he'd be any good but the club should look at him if he was genuinely interested in getting into coaching...

I actually believed that he was one of few players who accepted to take a paycut at the time and genuinely wanted to stay at Freo. I can't remember now, I might be wrong.

I always liked Anvil, so congrats on a good career. :thumbsu:

He's keen to get into coaching, been an assistant with an U18s team and has done the AFL coaching course, from what i hear anyway.

From the talk at the press conference as far as coaching went I think Mick was pretty keen to keep him at Collingwood.

Money talks. We need fresh assistant(s).. and he may be interested in getting out of Collingwood to develop his coaching skills. I would hope FFC contacts him to see if he is interested.
