As we all know, last night he strained his hamstring. But what was impressive was that he kept running and got possession of the ball and kicked it to the direction of Alwyn Davey. Some might say this was dumb courage considering he could have further damaged the hamstring, but I think we should all give props to him for the heart and effort he put towards the team.

Yep,he's a guttsy little f----ker alright.

Love the kicking style of Leroy. His low, raking hard kicks into our forward line are a joy to watch.

It's a pity his legs are having trouble in taking the punishment that league football dishes up. Lets hope he can recover well and get back in the side quickly.

another injury that really annoys me. just as leroy was finding some form and having an impact on the games he gets injured

It's frustrating, all these injuries occuring to the young players that could be playing for us at the moment, hopefully he and the others get back soon.
Hislop, Hocking, Gumby, Dempsey, Jetta and Myers are the young players I speak of, and I think ATM if they were all fit, the majority of them would be in the team.

I think he'll be a bigger loss than we realise.

In game one he was directly involved in about 5 goals with either tackling or clean and smart possession.

Against the Blues he was involved in about 3 before getting injured.

Can't buy that class or tackling pressure.

Don't forget the Courageous mark Jetta took, standing under a Lloyd's hospital pass. As soon as he took the mark he side stepped out of the way :thumbsu: of Judd and Murphy coming the opposite direction.

Those two ended up colliding pretty hard. :D That was pretty funny...
