-Tuck and Polo in the middle for 70% of the match, compared to 20% at the moment
-Hyde, Raines and Newman in the middle for 30% of the match, compared to pretty much 0% at the moment
-Drop Johnson, not enough skill, footy smarts or inspiration to hold a spot in the team
-Continue to play Foley and Deledio in the middle for good portions
-Promote players like Hartigan, Connors and Edwards to bolster the grunt and ball winning ability of our midfield
-Play Tambling on the wing instead of the centre square for now
-Don't overuse Krakouer or Tivendale in the middle

It's time we used stronger, toughest and harder nuts in the middle. The fact that we completely under used Tuck and Polo in the middle, while Hyde, Raines and Newman hardly even get a run in there really rob us from plenty of centre breaks per game. This would have been the difference between winning and losing maybe every game this season. With the inclusion of players like Hartigan, Connors and Edwards we can add some depth as well. If you're content with watching us play crap players like Johnson then we will continue to disappoint. I'll write a few words and send it to Terry and I think you should too

He wasn't playing much in the centre square on Friday night. I can gaurantee that. I'd much rather Tuck in the middle than Johnson. At least he will get the ball. As for your stats of Tuck having 11 possessions for Collingwood, what an exhaggerated piece of crap that is.

We need midfield changes, I totally 100% agree with you. How we bring them about is the million dollar question (that's a hint at one solution )

I would like to see a changing of the guard. Slowly ease the talented youngsters with skills and speed into the midfield over the next 10 weeks and slowly phase out the average hardworkers with poor skills. We don't need more of Tuck, Johnson etc, we need more Bling, Lids, Bowden etc.

This is Terry's long-term plan and I don't see Tuck or Johnson as starting midfielders in 2011. Maybe we just need to speed up the changing of the guard in the midfield.

If you played Tuck in the middle as much as Johnson you would see more clearances by us. Tucks skills are not too bad. Tuck is alot harder than Johnson. I'd never have Bowden in the middle, he is too soft. That's why we moved him out of the middle 2 years ago

He hinted that senior players were not putting in as much as they could last week, now he's got to be even more angry with them.

He, and we, should be blaming the senior players. Not the coach who tells them to play midfield.

i think you're best bet is to write to the afl and see if they'll make a rule that allows 15 players to start in the guts!
If tiv and johnson werent in the midfield the past 3 weeks our percentage would be in some serious trouble.

I think we should let Terry Coach although he has been a tad conservative of late but a few points.

Tuck has been woeful and 11 of his 21 possessions went to the advantage of Collingwood on Friday.

Hartigan is struggling at Coburg and cant hit the side of a barn.

Connors is presently playing Coburg ressies.

Edwards is playing well at Coburg but is very light and you wouldnt want him thrown to the wolves. He may be close to a senior berth though,

FWIW i'd keep Foley almost exculsively on ball except for a breather and keep Schulz at FF.

And bring in Jack and Casserly (who actually is playing well at Coburg)!!!
