Keep Schulz (if hes ok) as he had a caeer best game i thought. Lids, Tambling and Newman were ok. Wont complain if anyone else gets axed. Pettifer was insipid, Howat just not upto it.

We were still sufficiently s*** to lose this one without the umpies help.

Pattison probably should be but we can't afford to as we have no one else.
Howat, from memory, had silky skills last year but he has not been up to standard this year.
Kane Johnson has been very average but will stay due to his leadership position.
Pettifer was shocking in some instances tonight... several times he went for the man instead of the ball, causing some Tart to scoop the ball up and run off, the remote was certainly airborne. Shouldn't be dropped mind you.
All foot skills were more than average, decision making again poor.

Brown to come back in ASAP.

axel played an effing blinder tonight, the only top notch midfielder we have, god a shudder to think where we'd be without him burrowing in. Tuck has to go, every clearance he had was a blind kick straight to the opposition, does he not know what a handball is? you dont have to boot it as hard as you can every time, pal.

The difference in teams was definatley the quality of the older blokes, i thought our youngster did their job, tambling stepped up, mcguane, lids, schulz weren't bad. Burns and Lockyer murdered us.

If anyone suggests that Pettifer can cut it at this level of footy, then they havent got NFI, they have super deluxe NFI.
Same goes for Hyde, Tuck and the rest of the bargain basement hit and hope squad. Sorry forgot to put it to the captain too. FFS, everytime it got into the above hands, the next move was a total **** up, and when it didnt and a Pie had it, a dude like Pettifer, put on a show of "i got to look like I am doig something, but really doing Jack shit"
Hey Petts, every blue moon, the stars align and luck goes your way, and the ball bounces at right angles and makes you look good. But that only happens every blue moon, the rest of the time, those that know see.

I think he was trying to envisage what crap he was going to spin at the press conference tonight.He must be running out of material.

Few observations from my point of view:

Howat - not even a good Geelong Football League player.
Polo: I love this kid more than anyone. Would like to see him freed from some responsibility for a change and let the kid get a kick.
Raines: WTF? Where do I start. Ok so was injured. Just proves that you can't heap all the responsibility on the kids. He'll be OK, just needs to learn with some decent players around him. Has been crap in 3 games so far though. Spotlight is on him.
Richo: could have put us 8 points down with 10 mins to go and misses while Schulz (who should have taken the kick) limps off with an injury. Seriously, I love the big bozo as much as anyone, but he needed to kick that goal tonight and he didn't.

Positives:
Tambling: showed some real poise tonight. His best game. While the others gave in and moped around at least he was in there giving it a it go. Thought he played a beauty tonight.
Lids: I just hope the cancer doesn't spread to him.
Krakouer: Thought he was good tonight, and actually reckon he's been good in our 3 games so far.
Schulz: 2nd best game for the club. Not saying much I know, but got a bit of the ball tonight.
Tivendale: for all the rubbish I've given him, I do consider myself a fair man. Credit where it's due. He played well tonight.

As I said, I'm gutted. Shattered.
We play an unaccounable, 'untackalable' type of footy under Plough. How long can it last?

I'll say it again. We desperately need a few blokes to put their hands up so we can drop a few players and show this sort of effort is unacceptable. But until we have any decent replacements, we'll probably be largely unchanged...

I don't care how many ruckman we have out Pattison is not a footballer, fancy being beaten by both Richards and Fraser, his disposal, effort, reading of the game and basic human co-ordination are all questionable and should be dropped until he is able to prove that he can do a least one thing right.

Needs to be told "Andrew, you can't break every tackle by charging through it". It worked a few times last year and he now seems to have it in his head that it will work every time he has the ball.
