McGuane will be interesting. brisbane rumours for 4 years on goose?
jackson im pretty sure was signed until 2014.... if not his contract should depend on if a mids such and conca or ellis steps up or if we think vlas could run out all 2014. (and foley's return)

Not many on that whole list that I reckon would be any chance to leave their clubs (or worth trying to prize away)

The only blokes I would chase would be Le Cras, Sylvia or Porplyzia (if injury problems behind them)

Maybe Carrazzo, Wells or Thomas but they would probably be too costly.

honestly the list isn't that inspiring. I doubt any would move. having said that, I'd only chase thomas, but how much would he want 500k? I doubt he'd cop much attention with us, but if he were to leave itd be to join MM

Agree with all this. Sylvia is a knob though but can play.
LeCras is from Perth i believe so he won't leave.
And we are finally in a position we can trade a pick away for the right player.

Johnson of Fremantle has always impressed me as a better player than Freo seem to rate him - I'm sure I know better than they do.

Maybe he just plays well against us - seems to have a lot of skill.

To be honest, Carazzo is nothing more than a solid workhorse, so let him remain a Blue for the rest of his career.

We will target the lesser lights for a specific role. Richmond isn't seduced by the obvious names on these lists.

99% of fans will say "let's try get Buddy... then Thomas... there's not much else" but thankfully we've probably already spoken to 5-6 role players about becoming the support staff for Cotch/Lids/Martin/Jack.

Recruit a Grigg, Chaplin and Maric every year for free while bringing in the Ellis/Vlastuin type kids at the same time and we'll be a strong team for several years. Bring in a Goddard every couple of years and you'll lose a good player or two the other way and be treading water.

That's why I think it's hard to predict who Richmond will target.

Michael Johnson (FREO) could be a good pick-up. Fairly versatile. Big body. Hard at the contest. Would be in our best 22.
Don't want Sylvia (MELB), we have our own strong-bodied kid coming up whos ready to explode in Matty Arnot.
LeCras (WC) would be a great pick-up but he wont leave

I'm a bit like you in that I haven't seen a great deal of him (one of the draft watcher experts on the board could tell you more) but he was a high draft pick and I think is meant to be a very very good user of the ball. Certainly would welcome either or both if they ever wanted to wear the yellow and black
