Your grog squad was fantastic, and i was ashamed from an Essendon perspective of 70% of our fans. Lack of passion, and its disgusting that your fans had to start James Hird chants, the ESSENDON legend.

To see fans walk out early, not showing the respect for James and Kevin was pathetic. Never in my life have i been more ashamed of the fans.

my girlfriend and her best friend where at the game with me (both LOVE the Bummers - especially Lucas - a little TOO much for my liking ) but they were both the same - couldn't believe how lame the essendon supporters were being in regards to getting involved in the match

They did their bit (when we wern't being told off for standing and clapping after goals by some old pommy bitty behind us WTF!?!?! )

perhaps if the 70,000+ essendon supporters got involved - the players may have reacted as expected - a disappointing night for all in red and black IMO

They did in the last quarter when we got a couple of goals and the whole ground was echoeing with the Essendon chant and Richmond came out and scored the next 4 goals.

i am not in anyway questioning the essendon supporters loyallty to their club - but perhaps their were a lot of "Bullshit" essendon supporters tonight that came FOR the occasion - and not READY for the occasion

I had a Bomber lady sitting behind me and she was great she was really into the match, at one point she tried to get a chant going and no one reacted, she yelled out thanks guys, but we did make up for it with that chant fine minutes later.
