Ditto. Sheesh people take themselves so seriously in here, you'd be almost forgiven to think BF discussions and opinions held some weight with those involved at the club. lol  :D

Don't they?? So I have been wasting all my time in here for nothing??

That tears it.

It may be the lack of sleep but there's something about the way that he leads to the ball and marks it that reminds me of Nathan Ablett.

I hope we get this lad! :thumbsu:

looks like he moves better than nablett to me. but i did like the look of mckernan and good chance he'll be around at 15, good height can take a contested mark, he looks like he has that ability to just go at the ball and take a contested mark like there is no one standing in his way when in reality he has one or two defenders in his way, a bit like jono brown (not saying he's as good as jono brown just the way he goes at the ball). happy if we get him, looks like he might be able to play fairly soon to so he'll take over ottens in a few years or maybe even put blake out of the team... at least he can do something around the ground

As I've said in another thread , I really feel that the Cats have cleared the way for them to take best available with first pick. Johnston and Trengove both have features that may convince that are , if they are available when our turn to pick comes.
Johnston may be a player who could be added to our forward group almost imediately. At 192 and mobility he probably would be quite light but he has the type talent our forwardline missed without Nathan. Not sure of his teast results but if he has spring he could be real dynamo.
Talk of spring , Trengove looks to be a Jumping Jack Hawkins( Toms Dad) type , only a lot taller. Another option to add to Taylor as a KPB.Not sure of his mobility , this is a key for backmen of the current game.
Then they might just go for a Hartlett or a Swift. It will be interesting.

I just hope we can add a kid who is capable joing our best 22 , just like Taylor and Selwood has the last two years

absolutely no chance at all of getting Hartlett, will go top 5 most likely, if not top 10 at the least, will not slip down ot 15.

my gut feel is if that Johnstone manages to slip past the top 10 that either Adelaide or St.Kilda will snatch him up, I think that our most likely possibility is Trengove.
