Surely there's room for Rocca, Cloke and Rusling in the same forwardline.

Fraser would have to play the majority of his game in the ruck.

Rusling is certainly ahead of Dawes and has shown a lot more than Reid in terms of ability to perform in '08.

I'd say the player that would keep him out of the side is Medders. They play a similar lead-up forward role starting deep.

Also Williams dominated when he was the sole focal point up forward. Now that Buddy, Boyle and Roughead are down there, they won't kick it to him every time.

Hawks should set up with Buddys Box again with the 4 corners being.

Buddy------Boyle/Roughy (Roughy injured and likely he wont play the 1st few rounds)
Willo--------Rioli

2 HFFers playing wing/midfelders (Whatever u wanna call it) rotating between

Hodge-Dew-Young-Lewis-Bateman-Crawford-McGlynn-Muston-Ozzy-Moss

Exciting times at the Hawks :D

Rusling is an average pick IMO. I just dont rate him. Although on rankings he was in the top 3 forwards available so its fair enough.

He's no worse than Mark Williams.
 
Stoked to get williams so late. Has the potential to be a 60 goal forward. Worth the risk considering the lack of talent left.

1st point, you're correct on.

Re: Fraser. Nah, I doubt it. His body is ****ed. Forward line of him, Rocca and Cloke will **** teams over :) If Wood is good as he's suppose to be, Fraser will start all games in the forward line.

MM loves Rusling. Has a man crush over the kid. Dawes is suppose to be some gun. I dunno, never seen him play. Reid's a gun, but I doubt he's the type to take Rusling's place.

Medhurst and Rusling played alot of games together in 07 IIRC... Thing with Medhurst is that he's a confidence player. I dont rate him but his 07 was pretty good. Rusling is a straight up FF. Medhurst has a bit of flair, creativity and is good when the ball hits the deck.

You'd think that's how they'd line up, but I doubt Mitchell would mention Willo playing up the ground if there wasn't some chance of it happening. Clarko would be crazy to do it IMO, but Mitchell would have no incentive whatsoever to make something like that up.

I think Rusling's a safer bet to net a decent score each week given the way the scoring is set up, but Williams has more upside. At this stage, given I'm still filling up my starting side, I decided to go the safer option (even though Rusling is far from safe himself).

I don't mind Wood, but he's not good enough yet to hold down 1st ruck, he still needs to develop.

Dunno about Dawes, he was pretty immobile before his knee-reco. He'd be coming from a long way back.

Reid goes alright, but I can't see him getting picked ahead of Rusling in '08.

So you get some priorities in and the problem is solved. Classic example is Stoney. He was here for an hour defending himself yesterday, yet has ****ed off. He should've known he was about to come up. I remember doing a 12 hr one on the MPFL and it was non problematic.

How about something like each time you hold up the draft for 12+ hours, you loose 4 hours of you're next time before you're pick gets skipped.

eg If it was my pick and I took 15 hours to pick. From now on, I only get 20 hours before my next pick is skipped.

I think this is a better way, as it appears to generally be the same people holding us up.

Mate, don't try and bag others because they are committed to this game and are displaying enthusiasm. That's not on.

Stoney, you spoke some tough words yesterday. Yet despite the fact that you're pick was IMMINENT you have decided to once again go AWOL without providing preference picks to anyone. I'll look forward to hearing your latest excuse, i predict it will go something like this:

"Skooks told me that we were unlikely to get through 2 picks within 24hrs so i didnt leave preference picks LOL"

This draft would be progressing at a MUCH faster rate if the same old people stopped delaying it.

Don't feed me with BS like "get a life", "i am busy" etc etc. I don't care how busy you are, if you anticipate that you will be away for your next pick then leave preferences. It's not difficult.


p.s-if stoney has sent his preferences to skooks, then disregard my post.

Dw about BW mate, his used to about 10 picks a month in his games.
 
Ive never encountered more whinging girls then ppl in this game....just settle and wait for your bloody pick it really isnt that bad. Let's put this in perspective it isnt even halfway through January yet ffs...Get real ya bunch of sooking b!itches. I love drafting just as much as the next bloke but really a bit of patience isnt that hard to muster...SURELY
