There seems to be a bit of debate at the moment about licca's role in the side. I believe he should revert back to his old role of number 1 tagger. He was clearly the best tagger in the comp in about 01/02 and I can't see why I wouldn't be just as effective. He still has a big engine , reasonable pace, reads the play well. He has the body strength and ability to close down good players and lets face it , getting 20 ps instead of 30 and closing down a good player would be far more effective for the team.
It would also free up holland to play more of an attacking role which I would like to see. Holland has great skills and also makes good decisions , he can go forward and kick a few and set up a few.

thoughts??

Agree

This week he could have tagged Goodwin or Edwards and performed a very important job

May be a late change just yet

I hope Licuria comes in for someone – one of the youngsters – maybe Egan. His experience, solid body and work ethic would be very handy. I’m not sure this game will suit Egan at this point and we are playing quite a few kids.

lol timmy, Yeah i hope to see licuria there as well, trying not to be bias as he is one of my favourite players but at this stage he does offer alot more in terms of experience/knowledge/hardess then say some of the kids, and i just think its a bit dangerous playing so many kids as we know they can ware out or get beaten easily due to their inexperience. I'd love to see him play that tagging role again, he could definitly do it and ant said it would allow holland to play a more attacking role and we know he can kick goals!
