another thing- please dont ever call me hipster. there is nothing hip about me. i am bald short and fat, and a south australian. i just live in Far-East Adelaide, a bit past Mount Barker. hipsters live in fitzroy and ride bikes and don't have jobs. they buy 2nd hand clothing and call it vintage. they think childless, never owning a home and not owning a car is a lifestyle statement. its not. they've just losers because they didn't go to work. they wanted to spend sundays at the pub and go to cafes instead of save their money. i hate hipsters. and so did saddam.

in adelaide it is the austral and exeter hotels is it? i love those places. i can peer through the window and make mental note to self "ok, that person has hepatitis, and that one too, he's bi" and so on

hipsters are conformists within their own subculture, have completely unwarranted arrogance, faux passion for obscure bands of talentless nobs, obtuse fashion sense, cheapness masquerading as quirkiness or upper-middle-class white self loathing.

In actuality, most of the culture boils down to judging. Judging items, activities, bands, companies, clothes, oneself and most importantly other people. empty vessels presenting an image of a full vessel- but If someone else is less savvy, cutting edge or knowledgeable than they think they are, they only get mockery and disdain

hipsters are seen near the fitzroy swimming pool, on alexandra parade and on brunswick street. they dont wear shoes and they should be run over when sighted as a service to taxpayers, society and the gene pool.

the issue for the haters isn't necessarily about their cheapass fashion choices or their interest in talentless eclectic unknown bands. The thing that rightly gets people fired up is their nauseating superiority.

The vibe of the hipster is generally picked up as, "I'm better/cooler/more obtuse/ironically trendy/faux artsy than you are," and that's what turns people off of the whole hipster culture.

unsurprisingly, the hipster cares so much about how people perceive them, yet they go over the top trying to pretend that they don't care at all. The ironic thing about hipsters is that they don't like to be judged, but they seem to judge everyone around them who isn't like them. Hipsters judge people on being judgemental!

hipsters also own crumpler bags.

the romans used to crucify the hipster, and throw them into the wolves and lions for people spectacle. that was while the roman empire was in incline phase

so yeah, dont call me a hipster. a HIPSTER is someone who does/likes certain things JUST because they're obscure or contradictory. Don't confuse them with people who are UNIQUE because they're not afraid to be who they truly are, regardless of it being "mainstream" or not.

hipsters are just lost teenagers who were never interested in and don't understand music but get into it because it's big and cool. similar reason to why they wear NFL / NBA / NHL teams hats without having a clue about the team or sport or league, it's just cool. giving them the title hipster gives them confidence to be a nothing nobody ****wit and get away with it. these people make sure they type a certain way on social networking websites so they are seen as cooler. don't ask how it works. these people are some of the stupidest we have in australia - especially the adelaide flavored ones.
