LimeWire/Java Download Help

Ok I have some problems

Trying to download LimeWire and it says It wont work because I need to owload the latest Java

Cant find Java Runtime Enviroment on my comp from the java website anywhere so Ive tried to download it but nothing. Ive tried saving it to the laptop and then run it as well as running from the net - nothing

Ive got Explorer Version 7 and Windows XP Home Edition, Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600 on my Laptop

Any Ideas???????

what can you download, java or Limewire? The latest java can be obtained by clickiong on this link and selecting 'open' - then follow instructions http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=12797
