I like the idea of Bruce playing as a permanent forward, and only in extreme circumstances should he be moved into the midfield. '08 is the time when Sylvia needs to burst onto the scene, and I can't see him doing it as a mid-sized forward. Trav and Green should be used as architechs on the half back line; Trav playing a similar role to Andrew McLeod. Dunn is now in our best 22 and needs to stay there. He's the future, with Bate Newton, Brock, Col, Bartram, Bell and Petterd all more than ready to take it up a notch.

FB: Whelan, Carroll, Frawley
(I think Frawley should be there, will have a good preseason, and i think he has the height. will also benefit having Rivers there as the 3rd man up)

HB: Bell, Rivers, Johnstone
Good combination of run and skill, with Bell being more defensive, and Johnstone attacking.

C: Bruce, Jones, Dunn
Taller marking options on the wings, with both able to play negating roles in the middle. Jones there for obvious reasons.

HF: Robertson, Miller, Green
Three very good options on the lead. Perhaps Green out of the square with Davey floating up the ground.

FF: Davey, Neitz, Newton
Don't think i need to say too much here.

FOLL: White, Mclean, McDonald
Ditto full forward line

INT: P.Johnson, Sylvia, Bate, Yze
P.J our best option as back up ruck, and the rest are very good impact players, that can be used either as midfield rotation or down forward (could even try down back for something different)

EMERG: Petterd, Moloney, Bartram
Three guys definitely pushing for best 22 selection, however there are doubts about their ability to come back from serious injury (at least for the first 1/2 of next year) so they're on emergency list.

Got a feeling i've left someone out, but it's bound to happen.

I like your thinking Stinga, changing things up with Johnstone and Green out of the midfield. I'd put Bate at CHF and Wheatley on the bench over Miller, because Bate is a better option than Miller as a lead up player, who knows if Miller will play next year or what he will do.

Stinga, smashing post there. I reckon you've got it pretty much spot on. Id swap bate for miller, dunn on bench, and moloney on wing if he is fit.
