As for TV, I always watch until the end, with one exception... the game vs the Swans in 2005... we were so dismal that day, and when Nigel broke his leg, I just could not bear to watch anymore.

It was also my 25th birthday and I'd flown back from London for it. Was so dissapointed.

I have done it twice....

First time vs Bulldogs at the dome I was full of the cold and they where up by 5 goals so I left at the 20 minute mark.

Second time Vs Hawthorn, We where down by 5 goals and rain was threatening at the MCG, not wanting to get wet and also the car park can take an hour to get out of, I left at the 23 minute mark and pulled out of the car park as the siren blew.

Triple M ran a competition a week ago for ladies to win a weekend in Melbourne: flights, accommodation, dinner, $200 for shopping, a Lions' game and access to the boys in locker room afterwards. I was going to post details on the Media Alert thread but thought I would have a better chance of winning if I wasn't up against other BigFooty fanatics. I got through with the correct answer on the last day but was just pipped at the post - DAMN! For a half a minute, I was on hold as the possible winner (while hubby went white at the thought of looking after two kids two and under on his own for a weekend! He did say if I won I could go ) but then they confirmed that someone had correctly answered the question just before me. Arrgghhh, so close! On Friday morning on Triple M you can hear what went on in the locker room with the ladies. Like a sucker I'll be listening in.

To be fair, I think they were putting on a brave front for the ladies. If you look at the footage of the Lions' locker room immediately after the game, as shown in the Ch 10 coverage, most of those same players and many others looked very upset and in shock.
