Why do you think he's on that much money?

He was on less than $550k previously (as he never turned up in the published salary lists, though other Crows players did), and it's pretty reasonable to assume he got a pay cut, after a season where he was dropped.

Wow, you’re genuinely delusional. Firstly, what lists are you referring to that publish actual player salaries? Secondly, he was having a very good 2025 prior to extending and wasn’t dropped.

Well I hope he goes somewhere he can play most weeks.
A second rounder is prolly a win win and take his contract hopefully. Free up some cash and give McAndrew another 150k a season

If Cumming is on that money - and he may well be - we should try to trade him for a second rounder and half his pay. He’s pretty much depth.

I would guess he’s on the lower end of Band 2 compensation considering he’s on a six year deal, which we know favourably impacts compensation. It was also very unexpected that he’d net band 2, you’d think a single journo would get wind of it if we were offering 800k over six years.

For reference, Doedee netted band 2 the year prior on a five-year deal reportedly at 650k.

You may consider him depth, but the coaches clearly don't. He's been selected in every game he's been available.
