Fact List turnover from 2006 to now

Going back through some old books I came across the '06 pies playing list and found that we only have 10/40 from the senior list still at the club and 2 rookies from '06. That's a pretty big turnover I think... what are other clubs like?

For the record '06 senior listed pies still at the club are Cloke, Davis, Didak, Johnson, Maxwell, Pendlebury, Tarrant, Thomas, Shaw and Swan. O'Brien and Toovey were on the rookie list in '06.

Walker, Russell, Murphy, Simpson, O'hAilpin, Bower, Betts, Scotland, Waite, Houlihan, Carrazzo were all on our list in 2006.

That's 11/48 remaining from that era, meaning 77% of our list were drafted post 2006.

Dockers have 9 that were there in 2006 - Crowley, Grover, Hayden, Johnson, Mundy, McPharlin, Pavlich, Sandilands and Schammer.

Hawks have 16 I think, plus some older players in Burgoyne and Hale that were in the AFL.

Jarrad McVeigh, Ryan O'Keefe, Craig Bolton, Nick Malceski, Kieren Jack (rookie), Tadhg Kennelly, Jude Bolton, Ted Richards, LRT, Jarred Moore, Adam Goodes, Heath Grundy, Paul Bevan

So that's 13 as best as I can remember.

Including rookies Eagles have Waters, Kerr, Le Cras, Cox, Lynch, Butler, Rosa, Glass, Nikoski, Embley, A Selwood, B Jones, Priddis and Hurn. Probably as big a turnover as any but looking at the quality of some of those you can see why they had a sudden dip. While some remain on the list, they basically haven't been available to play.

Good turnover for Collingwood considering we finished 5th on the ladder in 2006 and have played finals every year since. To turn over 75% of the list in that same period without bottoming out is excellent.

Addison, Boyd, Cooney, Cross, Giansiracusa, Gilbee, Griffen, Hahn*, Hall, Hargrave, Higgins, Hudson, Lake, Minson, Morris, Murphy, Sherman, Williams (debut in r4 2007)
