Live Streaming VFL Games

I have a deep interest in watching these games now. Almost as much as the seniors.
Being a Queenslander would make it a bit hard though

Any chance that these games will be filmed semi-professionally?

RFC_Official any discussion on this. I would pay a small subscription to watch good quality Richmond VFL games streamed on the internet. Would be a great perk to include as a part of the interstate membership as well

It wouldn't be too hard to get supporters to pre commit and if it didn't get the numbers then can it.

Actually you could save money by using up and coming commentators. I'm sure they would do it for a low price to get in some practice

Would there be some issues with the ABC surrounding a live stream of a VFL game? Or wouldn't they care coz they are after all just the ABC?

Maybe just stream the games at Punt road oval for now? That would save some costs?

Didn't we make a $3.3 million profit...?? Don't remember if it's net profit before or after tax and interest..
Using retained profits we can start streaming that stuff.
With the amount of sponsors that we already have and the amount of supporters we have that will indeed go up because sponsors LOVE increases in supporters.
Are we really going to use all our profits on the footballing department?

ABC are re-doing some things to allow live web casts of non ABC games.

You could say that about anything really...we have new staff to pay, existing staff to pay (hello), additions to ME Bank Centre to get it ready for VFL, new equipment for football department and plenty of other little things that a $50m business has. However, yes, football department is our priority.
