... with a hard fought victory in the Masters Series Cup 7-5 5-7 7-5 against Roger Federer..

Federer was playing at the top of his game, Hewitt was down and out midway through that final set. Was down 2 break points but broke Federer in the 9th game of the 4th set. Federer broke back in the 10th as Hewitt was serving for the match. Federer saved another match point. Hewitt broke straight back in the 11th game clinching it to love to once again serve for the match. After double-faulting on the first point of the 12th game, Hewitt re-gained his composure and took it out!!

What a classic match!! The crowd was damn loud, even during points!!

I tell ya ... Hewitt is a fighter!! He is a class act that kid!

But watching Safin last night. If he had half a brain, he would be unbeatable. He's so big and powerful and talented. He should be unstoppable.
