I certainly hope not. We can't afford to lose any of our senior recruiting staff.

Being Richmond supporters i'm taking it with a grain of salt since they share a brain between them, but out of the FFC staff I would have thought at most risk of leaving post-Harves, they would be at the top of the list.

He has been our brains trust in recruitment. Loyd has shown the ability to get some of the best rookies in the draft and is worth more than his weight in gold for Freo. I have to say Loyd leaves it will be a dark day for Freo.

If this is what this rumour is based on it's because he doubled his workload and was spread too thin this year being our main developmental coach as well as gameday assistant. It was mentioned in a 6PR interview sometime in the last month or 2 that he'd most likely return to his full-time developmental role and free up the asst. coach spot for someone who can focus purely on fulfilling this role.

If it's not based on the above then i'm worried.

Simon Lloyd held a dual position last year, development/ assistant coach.

Here's hoping they leave him as a development coach, which will free up a position for a new assistant.

The Tiges will want any seconds we have, especially in the recruiting dept.
